AFP APPEL is committed to protecting the confidentiality of information accessed by its volunteers and its website. This page summarizes the principles detailed in our internal Confidentiality Charter, given to every volunteer.
Depending on which form you use on this site, we collect:
Contact form — name, email, message, and the branch concerned if you specify it. These messages are processed by Netlify (the site's host) and used only to respond to your request.
Volunteer sign-up form — name, email, phone (optional) and message. This information is used only to contact you about the relevant volunteer mission, and is visible only to the association's administration.
Pre-registrations and course registrations — name, email, phone (optional) and message. This information is used to measure interest in each course (statistics by area), manage your pre-registration or registration and contact you about it. A pre-registration does not commit you to anything. It is visible only to the association's administration.
Bookshop orders — name, email, phone, address (for home delivery only) and the content of the order. This information is used only to process your order and contact you about it; it is visible to administrators only and kept for as long as needed to follow up the order and for the association's accounting obligations.
Volunteer portal accounts — branch leads and administrators have an account (email, password) hosted by Supabase, used to manage their page's content.
This site uses no advertising cookies and no audience-measurement tools. Fonts are hosted directly on our site: displaying them sends no data to Google.
Only strictly necessary technical storage may be used: the volunteer portal login session, kept in your browser only if you sign in. This type of storage does not require consent.
To display content updated by the branches (news, missions, photos), pages connect to our database hosted by Supabase and load a technical component from the jsDelivr delivery network. These exchanges are needed to display the pages, and we attach no tracking to them.
If we ever add an audience-measurement tool or other trackers, we will ask for your consent first.
Contact messages, volunteer sign-ups and course (pre-)registrations are kept for as long as needed to process your request, then deleted or archived as the association requires. You may request their deletion at any time.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct and delete your data. To exercise it, write to us at appel.asso@gmail.com.
Every volunteer at the association signs a confidentiality charter committing them not to disclose confidential information about members and beneficiaries, to take all necessary precautions to protect it, and to report any data loss or leak to the association.
